Leonor Ayerdis, Esq. is a member of the Children’s Legal Program team. Ms. Ayerdis represents unaccompanied immigrant children living in the community before the Immigration Court and the Department of Homeland Security. Ms. Ayerdis was a staff attorney for Florida International University College of Law’s Immigration and Human Rights Clinic and the Medical-Legal Partnership clinic.
Ms. Ayerdis received her law degree from Florida International University’s College of Law. As a student attorney, she successfully represented and obtained retroactive disability benefits for her medically impaired client before Social Security’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Ms. Ayerdis received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science with a minor in business law from the University of Miami.
